arcserve 5 and win98

Hi, I must install an arcserve manager on a win98 Pc for Arcserve 5.
Arcserve 5 manager brings a btrieve message, and I know there's a problem here.
Is there anyway, I can install a 6-er client (manager) on the pc? Upgrading the arcserve isn't an option, and I can't get a 95 license....

Any sneaky ideas here?
