Hi all,
I am still working on a solution for my problem, that
the Backup Agent for NT/2k SP3 seems to time out when
trying to backup a Win 2000 Server (SP2).
I can backup partition C, system state and registry
without problems, but when I try to backup partition
D (which is network shared for both MS and Macintosh(!))
additionally, then I get that timeout error message on
the server (agent dsoes not send any data, ec=10054).
Do anybody of you know any issues of the Arcserve
Backup Agent with W2k network shares for Macintosh?
Any way to work around this (temporarily stop the
Mac shares, rebuild them from a script afterwards,
and how does one do this???)?
There's nothing else special with partition D...
no service that accesses data, no other computer
or user working on that network share...
Any advice?
