I am running ARCServe 2000 Ver 7. Build 1100. I am having issues doing full backups, when i do a differential it works fine. Once i set the full backup, its goes about 60-70 percent then tells me "PLEASE MOUNT A BLANK MEDIA TO CONTINUE THE BACKUP", even though this job has 3 tapes assigned to it, still doens't work. There is enough data to be backed up on 3 tapes. Don't know why this is happening. Please help soon!!! Thanks in advance

First thing needed is to find out what the problem is.

For example if the backup filled up the first tape and then produced the message to mount a blank tape, the problem is the job does not see the loaded blank tapes.

A second possible problem could be that all three tapes are filled and then it asks for a blank tape. In this case it would be a capacity problem.

So start by doing some investigating to see just what is happening and then go from there.
