I am unable to see all my mapped drives in the Arcserve Manager. Is there a reason why only the local map drives are shown?

HI,

Stop ARCserve Engines
Close the Manager
Open the Registry using Regedt32 on the ARCServe server...

go to...

SOFTWARE\ComputerAssociates\ARCserveIT\Base\ASMgr
and add the value

DiskTreeMyComputerShowRemote
Restart the ARcserve Engine.

OPen the manager and look for yourself

cheers

I made the registry change, but the mapped drives still are not shown in the ARcserve Manager

Yes, its "ARCserve 2000 Workgroup Edition" version 7.0

HI,

Jabus was right....

ARCServe2000 WorK group will not backup remote servers..

It is designed to backup the local server and remote workstations (Nt4.0\win2k pro)

you need the ARCserve Advanced Edition.

Cheers
