Hi everyone,

We are planning to upgrade our Exchange 2000 Server to Exchange 2003 this Christmas.

We are still using ArcServe 2000, because for us, there was no reason to upgrade.

I now need to know, if the ArcServe BackupAgent for Exchange also works on Exchange 2003 and together with ArcServe 2000.
The other thing I need to know is: Does the ClientAgent for
Windows
work on Windows Server 2003?

I would be happy, if anyone could help me regarding these questions.

Thanks in advance

Mark

I know that CA suggests you upgrade to ARCserve 9 if you plan to use Exchange 2003.

I have no experience with ARCserve 2000 and Ex2K3 so I cannot tell you whether it works or not.

Cheers

They are not certified compatible for either, and there are no plans for it to be since support for ARCserve 2000 is being dropped. See the main support page for ARCserve 2000 for the details. support.ca.com then select ARCserve 2000 from the drop down pick list.

We're now rolling out AS9 and Exchange 2003. Surprisingly the client agent does seem to work!
