arcserve 2000 with exchange 2000 cluster

I am running arcserve 2000 on a exchange 2000 cluster. I get the following error: E-8604 failed to start backup. DBname=webtone1storage group, EC=backup agent error. -(362) exchange server error. HrEsEbackup end failed. Check backup agent activity.

I have a valid service account with proper privs. All I want is a database level backup Not brick level and it still fails. Can anyone assist ?

Anything in the dbaxchg.log/dbaxchg2.log?

Not sure for an IS only backup, but do you have a mapi profile set up for the account you are using and is the mailbox for your account hidden?(it cannot be hidden)
