ARCserve 2000, W3404 Pre/Post

I keep getting the W3404 error (files are not copied because of a sharing violation). How do I use the Pre/Post command for a specific computer? The documentation that I have looked at is of no help.

The batch files that you can use on the pre/post commands in the ARCserve options menu run local on the ARCserve server. If you want to do this remotely you can do this by configuring the client agent or to browse through the network in the backup source, right click the machine you want to use and choose pre/post option
