I am running Arcserve 2000 and using MSSQL as the database. Is anyone running this configuraton? I need to do some maintenance on the database and don't want to loose all the tape and job records. I believe in Arcserve 6.1 this was possible on the rima database. I have purning set to 21 days and my database size is 24GB. I would guess there is some house cleaning that could be done without wiping out relevant data in the db.

Have a look to the link
which shows how to maintan SQL database but it doesn't shows how to remove old records I think you have to do this by yourself by writing SQL query to delete old records
if you wish to do it.
