Hello,

i have the problem that we want do define an Differential job for our unix server to back up from Arcserve 2000 under win2000. The Problem is, that i can't find the option to set arcserve to back up on modification date (on arcserve 6.6 there was an option). So Unix has no archive bit Arcserve makes a full-backup every night.

Any Ideas ?

Set a job filter to backup files only modified within 1 day. This will require two (or more) jobs.

ie:
- Sunday: Full, no filter
- Mon-Sat: Full, but with filter

OK,
so I cannot set up an GFS-Rotation Job like I could unter Arcserve IT6.6 right ?

We do not use GFS, but I when I spoke with CA, they said that you could use GFS for Unix jobs. I have not tried it though.
