Arcserve 2000 Sessions

I'm running arcserve 2000 build 1100 (sp4) on a windows 2000 server sp3. I cannot see the second session after merging a backup tape back into the database. The backups is of around 10gb of file data. My database is around 6gb in size. In the logs it mentions about a sequential merge, does anyone know why this might be occuring and secondly how to do a sequential merge?

I do not have a TASK key in my system. I am having the same problems, Windows 2000 SP3, Arcserve 2000 SP4 (1100). I am trying to merge tapes from Arcserve 7 system on Netware from a year or so ago.
