Hi,
I am using Arcserve 2000 Advanced SP3 on Nt4, SP6a. I am backing up files on the Arcserve host machine plus two other NT servers. The backups run just fine, but it seems to "stall" for variable lengths of time when verifying the jobs on the network connected servers. Delays can be from 1 to 8 hours. So far the jobs eventually finish on their own somehow. When I find the job in a stalled condition, job status shows 'active', but no other errors. I just stop the job and everything finishes fine.
The tape drive is a compaq 20/40gb dat autoloader. I have setup an automated (differential GFS)backup in Arcserve which runs every night.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
John Cox
