ArcServe 2000 Open file agent

We have a few open licenses for the Open file agent, but it's ArcServe 2000. The box we need to install it on is running ArcServe 6.5. Would the open file client have any issues with the older version of ArcServe, has anyone tried this.

Never tried this myself, but the BAOF is one of the most tricky options when it comes to system and application interoperability. Are you able to setup both ARCserve 6.5 and the BAOF in some kind of test environment ??
