ArcServe 2000 Netware Client

I am using Microsoft's Netware IPX/SPX gateway services on my Windows 2000 server running ArcServe 2000.

Would anyone recommend installing Novell's 4.81 client software on the server? I am thinking I might get better NDS services on the server.

Any thoughts?

Wouldn't recommend it if I were you. I tried doing it and I found out the Novell client would back up data files incorrectly so that the data inside would be corrupted when restored. Took me a month or so to figure it out. Affects excel files, word files, etc.... Had to go back to the Microsoft Gateway Services after that episode...
