Arcserve 2000 Lotus Notes Agent NA version 1

I can only do full backup on Notes databases. If I try to do an incremental or differential bakcup I get EC=8604, Function not supported in this version of agent. I have applied the latest patches for both arcserve 2000 and the Notes agent. I'm running Notes R5.05 with archival transaction logging.

Well I got same problem with all the necessary versions & patches & even with SP3 server & notes agent ... any ideas ?

When you installed the SP3 version of the Notes agent, did youselect the version of the agent for 5.0 or above, or the version for 4.1 and above. (This is a dialog in the Agent installation process, I don't have the exact wording of the dialog handy.)

I suspect, but I'm not sure, that you have to select the v5 agent when you install to get the differential backup capability.

You will need to uninstall the agent and re-install if you chose the wrong one on initial installation.

Just to clear this thread up.
NA version is capable of doing only full backups.
For incrementals u have to use the Transaction logs that appear in the list with this version.

The other version does incrementals & fulls but does not back up transaction logs.
