ArcServe 2000 Job Engine Won't Start In Restore Wizard

When using the Restore Wizard, it attempts to start the Job engine, "Time out while starting Job engine occurs" and obviosly I can not restore the data I need. Can anyone help here please.

Do you want to say job Engine is stopped only when you try to restore only.
I think you have a licensing problem.

NO! Job engine won't start under any circumstances. I have installed SP3 hoping this might alieviate the problem, but no joy.

When you say a licensing problem - There is only One server that uses ARCSERVE and that backs up 2 Servers? Are there any Issues Here?

As mohamdr said earlier this could be a licensing issue. Go to the event viewer, go to the application log, and see if there are any CA licensing errors. If there are any errors, it will tell you the license code required.
