Arcserve 2000 Filters are spratic

I am very spratic results with Arcserve 2000 exclude filters. I am trying to exclude certain files that are always open because the jobs are always showing an Incomplete status.

First I had a problem with SQL files being exluded, I changed the filter setting to only have one exclude extension per line instead of muliple extensions with a comma. The corrected a large number of the file errors.

I still have several files that I can not exclude. I have tried wildcards, excluding exact file names, etc. The job still trys to backup the files and then reports it is in use and the job is incomplete.

Any ideas?

I've been having similiar issues. I could filter out a file if I put in the exact name but I could not filter files using wild cards. The filter is for temp files that gets created on Terminal servers so it's unlikely for me to enter in the exact names of the files.
