Arcserve 2000/Exchange Agent Crashes

I am running Arcserve 2000 with the exchange agent on NT4 with Exchange 5.5.

It is a fresh install and I have gone through the permissions in NT and Exchange as described on the CA website. I am experiencing a problem whereby whenever I try and select/expand or configure the exchange brick level in job backup, Arcserve just crashes out. I cannot do anything with it. CA have suggested that this might be a permissions problems and have advised installing SP2.

How anyone had similar problems? Any help, greatly appreciated.

I had a similar problem at one stage and found it to be the fact I hadn't installed the Exchange transport...ie a quick install of Outlook 98 fixed the problem. (I believe it has something to do with the way that Arcserve communicates with the exchange system)
