I have Arcserve 2000 SP4 running on Windows 2000 Server SP3. My problem is when I attempt restore an NT 4.0 Workstation backup to a PC. The restore begins but crashes with no error message when it attempts to restore any file into the root directory of the destination harddrive. If I don't choose the files in the root directory and only restore the folders and subfolders everything works. To get the files for the root directory (ie boot.ini, ntldr, etc) I have to restore them to another W2K box and copy them over the the NT 4.0 box. Is there a problem with restoring to NT 4.0 Workstation systems?
