I recently upgraded my Exchange 2000 server to service pack 2 and I have not been able to perform a Brick Level backup since than. The job goes to hold and the status is crashed. Any ideas what may be causing this. I am hoping it is just an issue with Arcserve, and not a corrupted Exchange database. Any ideas, let me know.

Upgrade to the latest SP levels fo AS2000. Make sure that the upgrade is applyed tot he agent as well.
That being said. I strongly recommend that you read and follow Microsoft's disaster recovery white papers. In them, you'll find that Brick level is a NO-NO! It's safer if you build a recovery server.
