Arcserve 2000 backup job problem

The backup job stopped half way thru at 50%, I tried to stop the job but didn't work, I also tried to delete the job but it said the job still running. Then finally I took one of the suggested solution - delete the folder 00000001.QSD and restart the server, all the job were gone and I created new jobs again, it works fine on that night. But same issue come again next night. I captured the some error message from log said

20030220 235131 141 E8602 Failed to read from database. (DBNAME=Individual Mailboxes\J C\Inbox, EC=Backup Agent Error -- (352) "Exceeded maximum buffer size in transfering data".)

I got Arcserve 2000 with the latest sevice pack, and an Exchange Agent.

Anyone can help?

If you have have any Antivirus .. change the mode to incoming only or stop the AV during the backup.. DatabaseBaba...

HI looks like this guy's mailbox has HUGE attachments....

is this always on this mailbox???


if so deselect it and try ...

Hi guys,

I installed the patch QO22840 and so far I haven't receive any error after 2 night backup. I will keep you guys posted if the problem persist.

Got this error with Arcserve 9 (SP2) on a W2k (SP3) Exchange2000 (SP3) server.

Job stuck on a mail box!

Any ideas why this happens with Arcserve 9?
