Hello

I am very frustrated with ARCserve at the moment...
I have a RAID 5 set consisting of 4 35/70 DLT tapes created with ARCServe 2000 (build 1100--SP4) that were good last week (I was able to merge and restore 30+ GB from them).

Yesterday, I uninstalled Arcserve and reinstalled it on the same server, but on a different volume (including sp 4).

I kept the "old" databases and copied them back over to the new Arcserve db installation directory. When I tried to merge/restore from the same RAID 5 set, Arcserve was able to locate sessions, however, it was merging "garbage" and was unable to find any actual files to merge.

I then tried "reinitializing" the databases and then merging, but still received the same result.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Well, after letting it sit overnight it seems more cooperative (so far) today.

I was able to merge my sessions, waiting to see how the restore goes...
