We are currently running Arcserve 2000 Advanced Edition(presently basic build) on a W2K Server (SP2) using a Compaq DDS4 20/40GB tape stacker. All works well except that recently we have seen a couple of instances where the inventory of the tapes in the stacker has disappeared half/part way through the job(all read empty), thus causing it to fail. We have only really seen this during the weekly/monthly full backups of our GFS rotation schedule where the job requires more than one tape to complete. Has anyone else seen anything like this ? Can anyone shed any light ?
