ArcServe 2000 - adding a second server to backup

We use ArcServe 2000 to backup our main server. We also use the open file agent and exchanger server 2000 agent. Now we want to back up our second server which was set up after the arcserve program was configured for the first server.

When I look at server admin I do not see an option add a new server to the backup. Is an agent required to back up the second server? The second server has no tape backup unit, and I would like to just be able to put a tape in the drive of the first server and configure a job to back up the second server. Capacity is not an issue, and we don't need to back up the second server every time we back up the first.

Thanks for any help.

From the Backup Manager just browse down the Network option
& drill down to that server. Select the source from that
server & run the backup.

Another method would be to install the Client Agent For NT on that second server & then using the Client Agents option in the backup manager add that machine & perform the backup.

Make sure that the ARCserve System Account has all the required privileges for taking a backup of the remote server.
