here is the setup. 2 aso servers.using VLDB.
server A is the central database server, server B is the member. both servers record detail info into the database.
couple problems...
1. the cetral databse administrator, i cannot see the member server. (aso discovery is turned ON)
i cannot modify anything about the member server since the original setup.
2. login errors. on the central DB server it gets
E4101 Unable to login to databse engine. (DATABASE=ARCSERVE, EC=-2013)
on the member server i get:
E4101 Unable to login to databse engine. (DATABASE=SERVER A, EC=5)
any ideas? passwords/logons are the same. i tired removing aso but that ony made things worse and had to start form scratch on both servers.
the sentral database admin worked ONCE(just for the original setup) past that it never showed the member servers.
im having a hard time finding ANY good documentation on this. the stuff thats on CA's website is useless. and doesnt cover any troubleshooting, that i found so far.
help. any ideas would be appreciated.
