Arcserve 12 & NAS Drive Backup Problem 1

I have been backing up a NAS Drive for the past year or so with Arcserve 11.5. Recently I have moved the backup to another server and have also upgraded to version 12.

The backup is working fine apart from when trying to access the NAS Drive. It does not have any security enabled so is acccessible to everyone. I am receiving an error in the activity log for every single file...

E3406 Unable to read file (File Path, \\Nas\Marketing\august etc...) EC= The request is not supported.

I have not had much luck on the CA support site (Normal) and am hoping that someone can come up with any ideas.

Since I'm having the same problem I tried using preferred shares and get the same error message as with the original post.

I am backing up a Snap Server and tried both local and domain account credentials to do the backup through the network and through preferred shares.

Any other ideas?
