Though my prune Database job clears out records older that 30 days and yet when I try to restore anything more than 10 days old I am prompted to merge the sessions. Have tried running Database utilities to check for corruption and reindexing but no go. Any ideas very gratefully received.

Arcserve 12.5 Restore requires merge within DB purge period

Install SP1 RO14718.
Check the Generic Logs section of the activity log for errors on it.
Check the database right after the backup completes to see if the data is there.
Setup a new job and then after it completes check the database to see if all the info is there.
