arcserve 11.5 sp3

Recently installed sp3 to our backup unit running 11.5.
Rebooted system and now all engines will not restart. They dont even appear as entries in services.

this is new to me,

well regardless if they don't show up under services any more then I'd say it is time to uninstall, restart, re-install.

copy out the database, 0000001.qsd directories to save the database and queue if you want, then after the install copy them back.

Rebbot the server and check to make sure your scsi card and tape device are seen during post. Had this problem and had to move some cables back and forth to make the devices seen again. Mine was caused by 2003 sp3.

May not be your issue but, I alwas say rule out the simplest things before tackling the big problems.
