ARCServe 11.5 - Copy utility 1

Hi

I want to make a copy one folder from data server to arcserve server's hard disk then the folder going to tape - as D2D copy - the data server has client agent; my question is, the arcserve copy utility use the client agent to make the copy?

No it does not use the Client Agent.

Setup a FSD on the ARCserve server and backup the data from remote system via the Client Agent and then use tapecopy.exe to copy it to tape.

As of version 12.0 there is Disk Staging which will automate this process, I strongly recommend upgrading.
