Arcserve 11.1 with SP2

Everything was working fine up until the beginning of this week. Now the SCSI Host Bus Adapter that has our Autoloader on it will not show up in the devices. We tried doing the device configuration, and it shows the Autoloader and the Tape Drive, but will not add them. I am stuck and have tried a lot of things. Please Help!

could be a lot of things causing that, but based off the information provided it is most likely a communication problem between the server and library resulting in a failure of the Mode Sense command sent to the library which is usually resolved by doing a power cycle on both the server and library, library first waiting for it to finish initializing and then bring up the server.
