archiving script...

Hi guys,

I've got data contain...
*20060528*
*20060529*
*20060601*
*20060603*

I want to archive the data by monthly directory, but inside the month directory there is day directory and I want to archive that day directory...

so it would be :
2006May/28.tar.gz
2006May/29.tar.gz
2006June/01.tar.gz
2006June/03.tar.gz

help me to give the clue pls.
