Hi, looking for a NAT device to archive some old files on network shares. Also want to move old emails stored within exchange 2003 public folders.

Device must have/be

- Raid
- 1 GB network interface
- web interface
- 1TB or above
- Reliable

I have identified a couple of units here

Western Digital My Book World Edition II 1TB Network Hard Drive

£258

Buffalo Terastation Pro II 1.0TB Network Attached Storage

£446

The WD is obviously cheaper, but I’m not sure which unit would be suitable for my company. The Buffalo has hot swap drive bays to replace HDD and AD support, which I'm not sure what I could use that for?

Please advise which out of the two, or others, you would recommend from experience....thanks
