Hello All-
I am in the process of archiving some projects/files from one of our vss DBs. These files/projects will be restored in a new vss DB. I tested this with test DBs. Is there anywhere in new DB a report of where the elements are being archived from (ex: DB name, path of the project/file in the DB, and version of the file)??? In my test runs, I could not see any such information(All I see is the path in the old DB without the DB name. And if a file in a project/subproject has only one version there is no indication of where it came from (path to the file), in the file's show history box, all is shown in the Action column is "Created".). And is there a way to just archive few files from a project than the whole project/subproject. I did not come across an option where just files could be selected, the drill down stops at project or subprojects(if any) level.

Does any one have any suggestions/comments on this...
thanx in advance
