Archiving Copy Fine-No E-mails Deleting

I run archiving with the Compact -A command, and I have successfully archived several users, including myself. One of the users seems to have a problem. Their e-mails archive fine, BUT none of their archived e-mails seem to delete from the original .nsf file.
The settings are the same for all of these users, but no matter what I do, this one user's e-mails will not delete after archiving is finished. What is preventing the deleting? I am running version 6.5.2

I spoken to several others concerning this problem, and they feel that it might be a bug in Notes. Has anyone ever heard of bugs in the Archiving? Thanks again.

I did find further information on the IBM site, refer to History Number 187175. It says that with the 6.5.2 version, among others, there is a known problem with archiving not deleting documents from the original database. BUT, BUT according to the article the server is using R5, we are using R6.

Does anyone know a workaround for this? One workaround is doing the archiving from the desktop, but that would leave the archiving in the user's area which I do not want to do. Eventually, I would like to setup archiving to automatically run on the server. Why is this happening to just a select number of users all of which have the same settings as the users that archive with no problem.
