Archiving agent not deleting docs 1

I just noticed one of my databases is getting bigger and bigger despite an archiving agent which is supposed to move docs over 60 days old to an archive db every night.
It seems that the agent which used to work well is not deleting the document from the the db, nor is it copying any doc to the archive db. nevertheless the agent still sends out archiving report with a list of docs that have been allegedly archived.

Using a view that calculates the total size of docs in the view, I find the db only contains about 9 Gb of docs that are less than 60 days old. However, the db Properties -Info tab shows an utilisation of over 90% percent and a size of a whopping 39 Gb.

Can anyone tell me why the agent is no longer working ?
Where can I find docs that make up the remaining 30 Gb? Thanks in advance.

Just to let you know, we recently moved to 6.5.2 from 5.0.11, and I am having trouble archiving. Even when I manually archive, e-mails get copied to the archive file, and absolutely nothing gets deleted from the original database, which defeats the whole purpose of archiving. It worked fine in 5.0.11, but not in 6.5.2 I'm trying to figure out what is going on.

Yes, our Domino server was migrated from v 5 to 6.5 not long ago. That might be reason. Is it a bug or what?

Our Admin told me this afternoon that the server still uses R5. However the db property on my problematic database showed a size of less than 10 Gb on his Notes Admin client rather than 38 Gb that was indicated on my Notes client. The discrepence is mysterious. He said he might need to do some compacting.
Two hours later, everything is normal again. The db size is about 8 Gb, which put smile back on my face.
Thanks, you guys, for your attention.
