Hi

We are running outlook 2003, cached exchange mode, connecting to exchange 2003. This is a new install and users are being prompted to start auto archiving to the default location c:\documents and settings\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook. One user archived their email this morning and it created a 256k .pst file in the correct location and looking at their inbox they have no mail in their inbox prior to august 06. The user assumed taht the older emails had been archived but when he opened the archive folder there is nothing in there in the way of archived email. I am a complete novice when it comes to auto archiving and am wondering what is wrong.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Regards, Darren

Are you sure that the default path isn't on the server?

what happens if you do a search for archive.pst? On both server and client?
