We had a problem with one of our datafiles and it needed media recovery. So i looked into the v$recovery_log and saw that it needed the files from archxxxx43.arc to archxxxx80.arch.
I've managed to get these files from tape into the archive dir.
but when i started the "recover" process it got until archxxxx46.arc.
Then the following error appeared:
"Change 1415685 is needed.
log archxxxx45.arc is loaded. sequence# xxxx46.arc is needed."
The strange thing is that change 1415685 is in archxxxx46.arc!! He won't take it!!!
Why does he load arcxxxx45.arc when he needes arcxxxx46.arc?
