Archive Bit Not Reset -5.1Server 4.83 Client on Win2000

My VFP application uses GetFileAttributes and SetFileAttributes to set on or off archive bit of files on server. Somehow this is not working well in this Novell environment.

Tested by using Windows Explorer to do the same thing: right click, Properties, Advanced, clear archive bit, Apply, OK. Check the file again and archive bit is back on!

Up to date on service packes and running Norton Corporate 8.00 antivirus.

Someone on Novell forum duplicated the effect so it' not a particular machine.

Any ideas?
