Hello All,

Where I work we have to save all e mail as public record.
We currently have a rule setup so that when a user sends an e mail it also sends it to an account that we then archive. The problem is the users are either turning off or deleting the rule.
Is there a way to either lock the rule so the user cannot change or delete it or is there a way to do this at the POA(postoffice) level for every sent e mail?

Thank You in advance.

Sorry but this can not be done automatically with the base GroupWise product. Rules can not be modified nor locked down at the administrative level. There are no mechanisms to generate a copy of all messages processed by a POA or MTA. You can do this with GWIA however, and that would apply only to Internet messages.

Seems restrictive but this follows in GroupWise's long standing tradition on privacy and security. Allowing administrators access to user rules or processing of message copies at the agent level would allow management to read pretty much all E-Mail in the system.
