Hello colleagues,

i have one question. How can I archive a full backup of one client? I 've done a fullbackup a view weeks ago and it is possible that this backup will be important in a view weeks. But my retention and browse policy is only one month and the volume where the backup is located will be used soon. How can I move this backup to a tape or other volume??

I hope anybody can help me.

Greetings from Frankfurt,

Christian

You can of course remove the tape from the jukebox so that it will not be overwritten any more.

However, if you want to extend Browse and Retention period you may modify the dates in the media index by running this command:

nsrmm -w “browse_date“ -e “ret_date“ -S ssid

Hi,

thank you. To take the volume out of jukebox was easy, but the second step (extend browse and retention time) was very helpful.

Thank you very much,

Christian
