We're looking into installing some new machines to put front ends on, so they're away from the indexer and admin front end ( unix machines ).
The new front end machines we'll use will have to also be solaris machines.

becuase they'll be seperate machines we'll have to mount the file system to these front machines.

we can;t use NFS, the next option would SAMBA or something similar, or maybe some fancy clustering.
( fancy read as Sh*t )

does anyone have this architecture and if so how do you mount the filesystems from one machine to another ?
