ARC Server 6.5 and Windows 2000 Advanced Server

I have just upgrades my server to Windows 2000 Advanced Server.
I just installed ARC Servre 6.5 for NT which is what I was using before but when I try to launch the ARC Server Manager it is uable to start the Database engine.
Error message 1053;
I suppose this is due to Windows 2000 ACTIVE DIRECTORY DATABASE?
Can Arc server 605 work with Windows 2000 Advanced Server?
Is there a patch to download?
Or is it abosolutly necessary to upgrade?

Any assistance would be apreciated.
