I'm putting together a bilingual book in English and Arabic. I'm using InDesign CS3 with a G5 running OS 10.5.6. Before splashing out on Arabic fonts I checked the Linotype support site. It warned:
"You need to use the Middle Eastern Version of InDesign for the correct representation of the script."
Am I seriously supposed to buy another complete InDesign version, for one job. Is there no way InDesign on a Mac can be made to run Arabic fonts, when InDesign on Windows can apparently handle them with no problem?
