APXS missing! Pls urgent help needed!

Hi all

This is driving me crazy! I have installed Apache 2.0.52 on a FC3 machine! When i try to configure php it asks for APXS. I've searched for it and it was missing.

Then i installed httpd-devel.2.0.52-3.src.rpm and should installed the apxs but nothing happens! I cannot find it!

What else can i do?

While I'm waiting for yum to install httpd-devel on my own machine.

1) What do you mean you install the src rpm? Do you mean you rebuilt the rpm from source and installed the resulting rpm?

2) If you correctly installed the devel rpm, what does "rpm -ql httpd-devel | grep apxs" yield?

Ah... yum completes, looks like apxs is in /usr/sbin, is that directoy in your path?
