I'm trying to update on debian using apt-get dist-upgrade and it fails on the following error:

*******
You must have the following entries in /etc/passwd and /etc/group to run this
qmail-package on this system:

/etc/passwd:
alias:x:70:71:qmail alias:/var/qmail/alias:/bin/sh
qmaild:x:71:71:qmail daemon:/var/qmail:/bin/sh
qmails:x:72:70:qmail send:/var/qmail:/bin/sh
qmailr:x:73:70:qmail remote:/var/qmail:/bin/sh
qmailq:x:74:70:qmail queue:/var/qmail:/bin/sh
qmaill:x:75:71:qmail log:/var/qmail:/bin/sh
qmailp:x:76:71:qmail pw:/var/qmail:/bin/sh

/etc/group:
qmail:x:70:
nofiles:x:71:

Installation aborted.
*******

qmail works fine, and in the etc/passwd I have entries for qmail:

alias:x:70:71::/var/qmail/alias:/bin/bash
qmaild:x:70:71::/var/qmail:/bin/bash

plus a few others.

Why is it failing? apt-get upgrade works fine, qmail afaik is fine.

Ok, I got this sorted now.

BTW,
is there a way to delete threads here?
