Hi,

I've recently changed from an old AS-400 to a not so old AS-400. Everything looked to be going okay until I was shown an Approach Database system that calls the AS-400 and does some SQL.

It knows (!) that the server has changed but we've reconfigured the system to operate under the old name.

How can I open the APR file and check it's configuration or what do I need to check on the AS-400?

I'm not an AS-400 person!!!

Thanks for any help in advance,
Carl.

You would probably need to use an editor on the APR file to find the paths it expects to follow to find its databases. If those paths have changed, it is risky to modify the APR file unless you use a "hex editor".
