Appointments randomly (and temporarily) disappearing from Outlook 2000

Good morning

I am working on a Windows 2000 machine with Outlook 2000 connected to Exchange 2000.

Every now and then I am finding that appointments I have made will disappear from my calendar, only to reappear later (usually within 5 mins up to 2 hours). Today, not only did appointments I had made disappear, but appts I had deleted will still showing.

Has anyone experienced this? I wondered whether it might be something to do with syncronisation issues between my OST and the server, so have turned off "Use my local calendar" option, but have yet to see if this solves the problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Good Morning,

Saw your post on tek-tips and I was wondering if you ever got an answer or some insight into what's happening with you. I've the same problem going on with a couple of users.

Thanks.

Hi

No, we never got this resolved.

I have recently moved to another PC, so it will be interesting to see whether the problem continues on new hardware (I suspect it will, it certainly doesn't present itself as a hardware issue).

The closest I ever got to solving it was a MS KB article I found about problems with PST files synchronising with Exchange server. I don't have a PST file, so that was not much help, but if your users do you might like to check that out.

Good luck, and if you figure it out, let me know!

Thanks
