Hi,

Is there a way to set some specific date ranges, which will apply to numerous queries in one go?

For example I have lots of queries where the date range should be from the start of the month to the end. Is there a way of entering this once, which would apply this to the selected queries?

Thanks!!

Hi

I normally do this by having a form (frmMyForm) with two textbox controls (say) txtStart txtEnd,

Then in the queries use Forms!frmMyForm!txtStart and Forms!frmMyForm!txtEnd in the query criteria

So long as the form is open when the query is run, it will use the values from the form

You could run the query via a cmdButton on the form

To make life even easier for the user I normally allow them to eitehr input any date range, or via an option group, to obtain a standard set of dates (eg This Month, This Week, Last Month etc) with a single click
