Applying Security

Hi

I am trying to apply security for the cubes published on the upfront.

i created a news item, added security from Upfront Server Administrator.

Now I am publishing the cubes from PPES administrator. Here it applies the same access rights for all the cubes.

I just want to know how to apply security at the cube level and how to hide the non-accessible cubes on the web for a user.

You have to set access rights on the newsitem (cube) in Upfront. This will NOT affect users who access the cube directly via the PPES Table Of Contents.

Keep in mind, security will ONLY be applied once you have set a NewsIndex and Server administrator via the Upfrotn administration tool. Seacrh for this in a previous thread in this forum.
