Hi All,

I am doing some chart generation in excel 2007.

I am populating a chart at run time using VBA. The chart is a stacked bar chart and can contain multiple series added via code.

i want to set one of the serie's "shape style" (that comes by default in the Format ribbon) to one of the default styles in excel 2007.

Can anyone guide me to the correct commands to use?

Known is handfull, Unknown is worldfull

Hi,
serie's "shape style"
If you look for Series Object in VBA Help, you will see no Shape Style.

There is a Format object in the Series Object, and in the Watch Window (faq707-4594) I see objects for...
[tt]
Fill, Glow, Line, PictureFormat, Shadow, SoftEdge, ThreeD
[/tt]
So it seems that you set the individual properties you want in any of those objects.
