Applying Formulas

I am trying to figure out how to apply a formula comparing Finish Date of the Project to system date and if value is equal to or less than 14 days provide a numeric response. If the numeric response is equal to certain values the task will be coded red, yellow or green. Anyone done that or know how? I have been tooling with the formula's and microsoft equation 3.0 and no luck thus far.

I have no idea what your reference to "Equation 3.0" is but your task is simple in Project.

1. Equation for a number field:
datediff("d",now(),[Finish])

2. In graphical indicators
Choose your criteria (you didn't tell us what they were so I'll guess)
